Don't worry, your just turning into a mutant.

So, some major events have been happening following and including the earthquake near Japan.  Then you have this tsunami.  And from just those two, Earth's axis apparently shifted.  It has also started up some volcanoes in some place, probably Hawaii.  So, now, I hear about a nuclear something or other releasing radiation across Japan. Possibly being able to spread around to the U.S., and also other places in the Middle East/Europe.  Honestly, I personally wouldn't be worried about the radiation, since I live in the eastern part of the U.S.  But if you're in Japan, well, hopefully you'll grow and extra arm, if not you'll probably just die sooner from some sort of cancer or sickness.  Bummer.
